Why I Recommend It
I'll be honest—this one wasn't for me. I went in expecting a traditional true crime documentary with major discoveries and a fast-paced investigation, but it feels much more like a real-life human story than a crime documentary. The pacing is slow, and a significant portion of the series focuses on the students, their lives, and what they learn throughout the course.
That said, I did appreciate its message. The series reminds us that victims are more than just names in a case file, and it highlights the importance of empathy when investigating violent crimes. If you're expecting shocking revelations or a definitive answer to the murders, you'll probably walk away disappointed.
