Description (No Spoilers)

Severance is a dense and unconventional drama built around a radical concept: employees undergo a procedure that surgically separates their work memories from their personal lives. When they’re at work, they have no memory of who they are outside of it — and once they leave, they remember nothing about what happens on the job.

Starring Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette, the series slowly unravels the psychological and ethical implications of this separation. What begins as a corporate experiment becomes a deeply unsettling exploration of identity, autonomy, and free will. The sterile office environment, deliberate pacing, and layered storytelling create an atmosphere that is intentionally disorienting.

This is not a surface-level thriller. It’s a carefully constructed slow burn that asks viewers to pay attention — and rewards those who do.
