The series leans heavily into fish-out-of-water humor, exaggerated personalities, and the absurd contrast between high-society glam and small-town simplicity.
Rather than focusing on serious drama, the show embraces silliness and nostalgia. Watching Luann and Sonja navigate unfamiliar environments while remaining completely themselves is the entire appeal. It’s playful, unserious, and built around their long-standing Bravo chemistry.

I recommend this purely for nostalgia and fun.
If you miss seeing Luann and Sonja on your screen, this delivers that familiar comfort. They are still very much the same — dramatic, self-aware, and unintentionally hilarious.
