A Good Girl's Guide to Murder starts like a simple school project… and quickly turns into something much darker.
Pip is a smart and well-behaved student who decides to investigate a murder case that shocked her town years earlier. Everyone already believes they know what happened and who was responsible. But the deeper she digs into the case, the more obvious it becomes that people are hiding secrets… and some of them will do anything to stop the truth from coming out.
What makes this series work so well is that it feels more intense with every episode. At first it seems like a typical teen mystery, but it slowly becomes darker, more emotional, and surprisingly tense. You start realizing that Pip was completely unprepared for the danger and obsession that comes with trying to solve a real murder.
The episodes move fast, which makes it extremely bingeable. Each season only has 6 episodes, so it’s the kind of show you can finish in one weekend and immediately need another season. And now that Season 2 is finally here, it’s the perfect time to catch up if you missed it last year.
If you like mystery series where everyone seems suspicious and the truth keeps changing every episode… this is absolutely worth watching.
Why I Recommend It
I recommend A Good Girl's Guide to Murder because it’s one of those mystery series that becomes darker and more addictive the more you watch. What starts as a “school project” slowly turns into a dangerous investigation where you realize almost nobody wants the truth exposed.
I also loved that the episodes are short and easy to binge. With only 6 episodes per season, the story moves quickly without filler, and almost every episode ends making you want to immediately press play on the next one.
