Last updated: July 2026
July is bringing a little bit of everything — new reality drama, a wave of true crime and documentaries, some fresh thrillers, and the return of a few fan favorites. Summer binge season is officially here.
Here are the shows I’m personally planning to watch or looking forward to this month. As new episodes premiere, some of these titles may later be added to the My Mood Watch catalog with full reviews and recommendations.
Looking for new shows to watch this month?
Here are the most anticipated TV and streaming premieres arriving in July 2026.
For now, consider this your preview of what’s worth watching in July.
Elle (Prime Video)
New ShowPrime Video kicks off July with Elle, a new series that already has that slow-burn, stylish quality Prime does so well. Adding this one to the watchlist for a quiet weekend binge.
Abandoned (Hulu)
DocumentaryA new Hulu documentary exploring the eerie, forgotten places people leave behind — and the stories buried in them. Perfect for anyone who loves an unsettling, atmospheric watch.
Worst Neighbor Ever (Netflix)
DocumentaryNetflix brings us another wild true-story documentary — this time about a neighbor dispute gone completely off the rails. If Netflix’s documentary track record is any indication, this one is going to be equal parts infuriating and impossible to stop watching.
Silo – New Season (Apple TV+)
New SeasonSilo returns for another season of the mystery hiding beneath the surface. This show has consistently been one of Apple TV+’s strongest sci-fi bets, and I’m ready to see where they take it next.
The Real Housewives of Orange County – New Season (Bravo / next day Peacock)
New SeasonThe OG Housewives are back. New season, new drama, and if recent seasons are any indication, absolutely no shortage of chaos. A must for any Bravo fan.
Five Star Weekend (Peacock)
New ShowA new Peacock series about old friends reuniting for a getaway that stirs up more than anyone bargained for. Perfect breezy-but-emotional summer watch.
Little House on the Prairie (Netflix)
New to NetflixThe beloved classic lands on Netflix. Whether you grew up with the Ingalls family or you’re discovering them for the first time, this is the ultimate comfort watch.
The Man Will Burn (HBO)
DocumentaryA new HBO documentary that looks like it’s going to be intense and deeply investigative. HBO’s documentary arm rarely misses, so this one is high on my list.
Project Runway – New Season (Freeform / Hulu)
New SeasonThe design competition returns for another season of fashion, drama, and “make it work” energy. A reliably fun watch for anyone who loves a good competition format.
Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea (Netflix)
DocumentaryA gripping Netflix documentary about a disaster at sea and the survival stories that followed. High stakes, real fear, and exactly the kind of documentary that pulls you in from minute one.
Murder 101 (Prime Video)
DocumentaryPrime Video takes on a true crime case that sounds equal parts twisted and fascinating. Adding this straight to the true crime queue.
Rabbit Hole (Hulu)
New ShowA new Hulu series with a title that already promises a twisty, go-down-the-rabbit-hole kind of watch. Going in with an open mind on this one.
Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro (ABC / next day Hulu)
New ShowA spinoff hunting for the next generation of DWTS pros. If you love the ballroom glitz as much as the competition, this is a fun new addition to the franchise.
Lucky (Apple TV+)
New ShowApple TV+ continues its strong track record with a new series that sounds like it’ll blend suspense with sharp character work. On my radar for sure.
Ride or Die (Prime Video)
New ShowA new Prime Video series that sounds like it’s bringing big energy — loyalty, chaos, and characters who go all in for each other. Ready for this one.
The Hawk (Netflix)
New ShowA new Netflix series with a title that hints at something sharp-edged and intense. Adding it to the July watchlist to see where it goes.
The Real Housewives of London (Peacock)
New ShowA brand new Housewives franchise crosses the pond. New city, new cast, same glamour and drama we all show up for. Very curious to see how the London ladies compare.
A Toxic Love Story (Netflix)
DocumentaryA new Netflix documentary diving into a relationship that spiraled into something far darker than anyone expected. Heavy, but the kind of story that’s hard to look away from.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe (HBO)
New ShowA quirky new HBO series with a title that already promises some offbeat, comedic sci-fi energy. Curious to see the tone they land on with this one.
Furious (Hulu)
New ShowHulu closes out July strong with a new series that sounds fast-paced and high-tension from the title alone. Adding this one to the weekend list.
House of Stassi (Freeform / Hulu)
New ShowA new Freeform series that sounds like it’s bringing plenty of drama and family dynamics to the table. On my list to check out.
The Bombing of Pan Am 103 (Netflix)
DocumentaryNetflix closes out July with a documentary revisiting one of the most devastating events in aviation history. Heavy subject matter, but an important and gripping watch.
