Description (No Spoilers)
A psychological crime thriller centered on a seemingly charming man whose obsession quickly turns deadly. You follows Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager who uses social media, technology, and careful observation to insert himself into the lives of the women he becomes fixated on.
What makes the series so unsettling is how believable it feels. Joe doesn’t see himself as a villain — he sees himself as a romantic. Through narration, the audience is pulled inside his mind, blurring the line between love and control, devotion and danger.
The first season is especially sharp, exposing how easily someone can learn everything about you through social media alone. As the series progresses, the story evolves into something darker and more layered, expanding beyond simple obsession into deeper psychological territory.
It’s creepy, modern, and disturbingly relevant.
Why I Recommend It
One of my favorite serial killer series. That first season is a gem — shocking, smart, and unsettling in how much someone can know about you just through social media.
What makes it even better is how the story evolves season after season, getting darker and more complex. It’s creepy, bingeable, and impossible to stop watching once you start.
• A brilliantly written psychological thriller with a dangerously charming lead
• A binge-worthy series that keeps escalating with smarter, darker twists
